ABEC (Ashington Business & Enterprise Centre) is a brand new Enterprise Development, housed in it's own buildings on the Northumberland College Campus and serving local schools in the Ashington Learning Partnership Trust which will have its grand opening in December.

The Centre has invested in a full uBizEE Printing System including the Sublimation Printing Kit, meaning that students within the centre will be able to produce and sell for profit everything from a flyer and poster, through full colour banners and canvas wraps and up to Mugs, T-Shirts and other merchandise. The Centre has been funded by Go Wansbeck, part of Northumberland County Council, making use of the availability of remaining LEGI funding in the area.
